A Complimentary Basket of Games for NVIDIA users

A couple of days ago, Valve decided to show some customer appreciation and distribute free copies of Portal: First Slice – an extended demo of Portal – along with copies of Half Life 2: Lost Coast, Half Life 2: Deathmatch, and Peggle Extreme.  Whilst I have never even heard of the last game mentioned, I can attest that Portal alone is well worth the price – free, haha.  A very fun and unique game, in my opinion.  I haven’t gotten the chance to try the two pieces of Half Life 2 yet, but I can’t wait to give them a shot.

If you haven’t heard of this news yet of you can’t find the URL, hurry up!  The offer is only available for a limited amount of time, and all you have to do is login to your Steam account or create a Steam account – which takes a couple of minutes.  The only problem I had was that servers were too busy and I was unable to complete downloading Half Life 2: Deathmatch.  Alas, I guess a free game has its compromises.
